What We Do
Product Brunch is an intimate invitation-only community based in Toronto. We meet every month in a member's home to eat, drink, be merry, solve a product case study together, and build long-lasting professional connections.
Brunch
Everyone brings something delicious to share.
Networking
Make new friends who also work in product roles.
Case Study
Learn how to ace the case and crush your next interview.
The Tea
Real talk in a safe space to navigate the tech industry.
The Agenda
Product Brunch takes place on the last Sunday of every month from 12 to 2pm, and follows the same format every time.
01 - Cheerio
Come in, get settled, get your coffee or mimosa, check out all the amazing food people brought, and start introducing yourself around.
02 - Case Study
Each month, we tackle a new case study, similar to the one you'd get in a product job interview. Work together in small groups of 3-4 to come up with your best approach. It's a great way to learn useful frameworks, see how other professionals think, and hone your "product sense". Plus - after you solve a couple of cases with somone, you'll feel like you actually know them and their capabilities well enough for a referral.
03 - Toast & Tea
We end the afternoon by celebrating any wins this month, lifting each other up, and sharing tactics for success. That concludes the formal programming, but feel free to hang out and talk. This is where friendships are born.
04 - Recap
Afterwards, we send out an email that includes highlights of the day, a copy of the case study, the approaches we came up with, and the official solution (often controversial!) to the case. It's a great way to keep up if you miss a day.
Meet Your Hosts
Lianne and Laura were roommates for 3 brief months in 2022, but it was a glorious time. We'd meet in the kitchen and end up talking for hours about our dreams of building clever, beautiful, world-changing products. It was electric. Energizing.
As we've grown in our careers and attended the same ol' boring networking events, we find ourselves craving deeper and more meaningful professional connections. The kind of magic that comes from having friends to dream big with; to problem-solve with; to commiserate with about the sometimes difficult experience of being a woman, queer, or a person of color working in tech.
Our goal is to foster a community that is as intimate and inspiring as having brunch with friends who are passionate about the same work as you are.

Frequently Asked Questions
Fill out the contact form and we'll be in touch. Lianne or Laura (or both) personally interviews every new member, because we're building an intentional community of people who share the same generous, passionate, and collaborative spirit. There's no particular job title or experience required.
Come to as many Product Brunches as you can or as few as you like. There's no specific attendance commitment. Just treat your RSVP as firm and sancrosanct. You wouldn't no-show brunch with a friend, so it's not okay here either.
There are no membership fees to join.
Product Brunch is always held on the last Sunday of the month from 12 to 2pm. It is hosted in the home of one of our members. This tends to be in downtown & the west end of Toronto.
Brunch is a casual potluck. Bring something snack-sized to share. We'll send numbers & allergies ahead of time. The host usually serves coffee, tea, and mimosas.
The case study is fun. It's a puzzle from the product world and you'll work in small team to solve it - kind of like an escape room, but somehow even nerdier. You don't need any specific knowledge or experience to solve the case, and you won't be an expert in every case. Don't worry if you've never done this before. We're learning together. Becoming good at solving cases is crucial to landing great product jobs and to solving wicked problems. It helps you tackle problems using repeatable frameworks, distil complex thoughts into simple and well-articulated solutions, and focus your creativity.
